How to convert row to column in Excel 2010

Here is the step by step simple trick to convert any row or set of rows into a column in Excel 2010.

Step 1. Select the cells and copy them in Excel 2010



Look at the spreadsheet in the Excel 2010 and we want to change the two columns into rows. At first we need to select all the cells and then make a copy of them.

Step 2. Paste Special Next to right click in the cell where you want to put the data in rows, and select "Paste Special..."



Step 3. Make sure Transpose is checked When the Paste Special box appears you need to check the option that reads Transpose.



Step 4. See the data is in rows Now you have managed to change a row to a column in Excel 2010. Just see the data that was in columns is in rows.
